Associate Application Engineer - OPC
 
Job Qualifications
Must be able to work in Korea & to attend training in U.S.A. for 3~6-mth
Fluent in Korean and English
Education: BSEE. MSEE is a plus
Must have a good understanding and some experience with the following:
Operating Systems: UNIX, Linux, Sun Solaris.
Languages: Verilog (Behavioral, RTL, gate level), VHDL (Behavioral, RTL, gate level), Perl, C/C++ and tcl.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required. Trouble shooting and project management skills a plus.
 
Job Duties
In this position, you will be involved in a structured Associate Application Engineer Training Program.
This is a fast-track training program that challenges you to develop the expertise needed to solve difficult technical problems. Associate Application Engineers are members of a team of highly motivated individuals working with customers designing the most complex hardware and software systems in the world and whose applications span the electronics industry.
Broaden your horizons through continuing your education on the latest tools, techniques, and best practices in the industry. You will be providing award-winning engineering support to our customers' engineering teams using the latest tools and techniques. The initial phase of this training program will also include some time working directly with a product development team.
This training program will give you unique insight in to our organization. Upon successful completion of the training program, you will be eligible to advance into a Field Applications Engineer position.

 
Application Engineer - P&R
 
Job Qualifications
1. PhD/Masters in Electrical/Electronics Engineering
2. Over 10 years experience and knowledge of SOC implementation from logic synthesis to tape out
3. Over 3 years project management and team leadership experience, including frequent interaction with Sales and R&D
4. Expert-level familiarity with timing optimization, signal integrity, power, place & route and overall implementation is a must
5. Knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems
6. Knowledge of competitive EDA tool products and detailed product knowledge in the area of physical verification & DFM tools
7. Strong written and oral communication in the Korean and English languages, and interpersonal skills
 
Job Duties
1. Both project leadership and individual technical contribution in assisting customers to deploy Mentor Graphics' P&R software to solve leading-edge design challenges
2. Tracking and updating project status, technical deliverables, and customer issues using Mentor Graphics' processes and tracking tools
3. Developing and delivering technical training on new features and product updates
4. Communicating customers' technical requirements as well as customer issues to the product and sales teams

 
Application Engineer -IC/PVX
 
Job Qualifications
1. PhD/Masters/Bachelor Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (Preferring to Masters Degree)
2. Over 5 years experience and knowledge in IC physical verification area. Such as DRC/LVS rule deck developing and build RC extraction rule deck setup.
3. Familiar with custom IC and ASIC IC design flow, such as AE experience or CAD engineer experience in physical verification area.
4. Strong scripting skills in CAD environment, such as TCL, perl language or other shell scripting experience
5. Knowledge of Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems
6. Able to work in a team environment
7. Strong written and oral communications in the English language, and interpersonal skills
 
Job Duties
1. Providing technical support to customers via telephone and other electronic means, and at customer locations
2. Assisting customers in deploying Mentor Graphics' Calibre software to solve design challenges
3. Tracking and updating customer issues using defined Mentor Graphics' processes and tracking tools
4. Developing and delivering technical training on new features and product updates
5. Developing technical content for Mentor's knowledgebase
6. Communicating customers' technical requirements as well as customer issues to the product and sales teams

 
Application Engineer - OPC/RET
 
Job Qualifications
1. 5 years experience in Fab, preferably in Photolithography or Process Integration is a plus. (++)
2. Very strong computer skills, including familiarity with Windows, Linux, UNIX, and experience with programming languages (Perl/C/C++/TCL/Python). (++++)
3. Strong knowledge in photolithography theory, including optics, diffraction, phase shifting and resist modeling. Experience with photolithography simulation packages, such as Solid-C, S-Litho, Prolith, etc. (++++)
4. Experience in layout of data, including knowledge of DRC software packages.. (++)
5. Demonstration of skills in project management with minimal supervision.
6. The ability to be highly motivated and goal oriented.
7. The ability to aggressively focus on solving problems individually and as part of a team with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
